Oriental Kitchen Restaurant @ The Strand, Kota Damansara

Since the foremost lonely ''The Woke Cafe - penang nyonya food'' started their business in this quiet Strand, there are so many restaurant open now.

This is another chinese restaurant that serve local cuisine, just right opposite of The Woke Cafe.

apetizer - braised ground nuts. not soft not hard, still preserve some crunchy

Their special drink : Lemon Grass Peppermint Tea. They channel the proceeds to NKF (National Kidney Foundation Malaysia) It's worth trying and further doin charity at the same time.

one of their specialties - Braised Tofu with abalone sauce (served with big prawns n needle mushrooms too) love this dish!! the tofu and sauce just matched perfectly.

Assam Fish - not very spicy and the sauce is thick

another specialties - Stir Fried Paku Belacan (paku vege from Sarawak, hardly find at other restaurants) i remember i don't like paku vege when i first tried because its so sticky like eating glue. But theirs are so nice, none of the glue texture, only crunchy like vege. delicious !!!

Kapitan Chicken Hotplate. First time i see yellow kapitan sauce. Although i don't like petai but it doesn't spoil the taste. the sauce is so nice to serve with rice.

Stir Fried Potato leaves.

Claypot fresh frog (田雞)... not their specialties but still up to standard.

Claypot eggplant with minced meat

Fu yong egg (egg omelet)

They also served other seafood such as, thai coconut prawn, butter crab, kam heong imported lala etc. Environment is clean and comfy. Price are fairly reasonable too. I have been their several times. They are quite pack during weekends, especially dinner time. Go early or make a reservation.

Mr. Tom Yam @ Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara

I find this restaurant interesting to be named Mr. Tom Yam. Hahaha probably next time he will find his partner Ms Curry?? hehehee

It is just located in Sunway Giza, directly opposite of the village grocer. Easy to be seen as the sign board is huge and red in color. I always thought it was a fast food type of cafe due to the ''cartoon'' kind of signboard. Apparently, after exploring at its menu photos outside and looking at the environment its actually a restaurant !!

the menu is just in a piece of cardboard.. everything in it.. but wordings abit small for elderlies.

the signature thai style steamed fish... soup is nice and very sour !!

tom yam seafood

with big prawns

kangkung belacan..

they even have ice blended mocha (i know i'm weird to order this tat night... but suddenly craving for mocha..lolz)

the food and price are average... i like it for the sour and rich aroma of tom yam..

Euro Deli Restaurant @ Damansara Kim

Celebrated my birthday at Euro Deli last month with a bunch of friends.

A european style restaurant that serves PORK, especially sausages!! Believe you see Euro Deli's sausages selling in hypermarkets too.
The atmosphere is nice and relaxing.. especially the friendly and helpful waiters'.

the complimentary bun. it was served HOT like just baked. it melted the butter nicely. honestly i don't usually ate any buns served before meal but i did finish the whole of this!

need some green to neutralized the huge meat we ordered... the fresh salad.. glad if they serve more sauce... but i think isn't any problem if you request from them.

mushroom soup. hmmm not very outstanding but just acceptable..

the recommended roast pork knuckle from many bloggers... but i feel that day the skin is overly TOO hard. cant feel the crispy coz i cant even bite or cut the skin with knife!! oopzzz
the meat is tender... but not suitable for someone who cant stand the heavy pork smell... request for more sauce... the sauce is nice !!

mix of 4 choices of different sausages..

the most delicious dish of the night.... each type of the sausages are different.. comes with crispy, soft, rough, tender and etc.

chicken chop.. i didnt try this.. but it looks nice.. ahhaaa

they have a huge wine storage...

they also served spaghettis and pizza and all sorts of alcoholics.
bro said that their other pork dishes are way better than the pork knuckle... next time can try it out.

one of the highlight is you can challenge their monster Matterhom Burger @ RM88++
if you can finish the whole thing by yourself, the burger will be FREE.

most prices range between RM18 - RM40.. i'm not too sure for that night's bill because i was treated by friends. heheee...
