7 of us.. and the bill is sooooo long...
Food is fresh and good.. actually we went there on time but the shop only open at 11.30am, so we waited and starting the food serving is a bit too slow.. that why my friend was unsatisfied end up ordering alot. We all over-dosed with Japanese Food that noon.

Reminder: There will be a penalty fine on unfinished food. Don't waste food.

Damansara Hokkien Mee (福建麵茶餐室) @ Uptown Damansara, DU

Passby uptown several times and always see this shop is full of customers.. Went for dinner that day to try it out. It's just located at the uptown commercial area, at the end of the row of HSBC Bank. Remember this Yellow sign board as there is another Charcoal Hokkien Mee just 2 shops ahead of this.

you can see a few plates of extra lards on the table side.

Hokkien Mee @ RM6.00
they are famous with lots lots of lards. The taste actually quite normal, may be given too high expectation as many ppl says its so delicious.

Dad likes the ''ba gao'' from penang... so he complain that this is not what he expected too. hahaha the soup really quite clear and I think is ok.

one day i went to ta-bao the Hokkien Mee home for supper... out of my surprise, it taste much much delicious compare to i eat ''fresh'' at the restaurant. hahaha I wonder why.. but may be after packed and ''soaked'' for more than 10mins it taste better when reached home.

Hokkien Mee + Mihun @ RM12.00 - this is super big packet... can be eaten for 3 pax at least.

this Killiney Kopitiam has been open in uptown Damansara since years ago....its origin from Singapore.... i visit here quite often last time... especially during uni days... ahhaaa

coz wake up late during sunday.... still can have brunch here even at 3pm.... hahhaa

here they serve all kinds of food that you find in a ''KOPITIAM"...

food wise is ok too..... kopitiam lor........ i always see some regular customers during weekends.. hahhaa

sometimes will have the famous singapore laksa too... i love that... but not always got...

History of Kiliney Kopitiam

Located along the busy streets of Killiney Road, Singapore, the existing shop front was founded in late 1919. Back then, while it was an antiquated yet humble shop, its famous bread toast and warm beverages was popular among many people. Though it was just an ordinary Hainanese Kopitiam, it promised well-brewed coffee and tea, not to mention traditional charcoal-grilled bread toast. Mr. Woon, a regular customer of the shop, loved it so much that he wished to own it. In 1993, the dream became reality when he finally bought the shop, renovated it and renamed it 'Killiney Kopitiam'.
