it was open months ago at ss2... i went there on the next day after the opening.. the workers are still very kelam kabut la... the most funniest is... each of us order the nasi lemak, almost each of us had a different types of side dish.. ie, some with cucumber, some without sambal, some without egg... but its getting better now..
a huge poster on the wall upstairs.. an old street zaman dahulu... already got old taste.. haha donno true or not
the white coffee (hmmm not really like it, especially the cold wan.. almost tasteless) i always order the ice honey lemon now... its much much better
the nasi lemak is RM7.90 per plate.. taste not bad... can be very full cause the nice is huge. food quality still ok, just i'm not satisfy with the white coffee. Just don't understand it is actually advertising WHITE COFFEE, a true coffee shop but the coffee taste no good... hahaaa weird =.=''... perhaps other outlets is better.

i love old town...
ReplyDeletewahhhhh!!! These are the typical kopitiam dishes that I crave for whenever I am in Ipoh/Penang! Love them. Somehow, they still retain more traditional flavours, they taste better than Singapore's kopitiam cafes.
ReplyDeleteGuess the coffee taste cant beat the ones in Old Town kopitiam.
ReplyDeleteBeen there before. Taste and environment wise, almost the same.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is.... if Oldtown continues with their below par customer service, it's just a matter of time this Old Taste gets past them.
Sometimes I really wonder what happens to Oldtown. Their service level really needs a revamp. Something which we really can do without.
Boney:
ReplyDeleteMalacca do have OLD TASTE Kopitiam too...the coffee ice really can beat OLD TOWN Kopitiam...
Just love their hazalnut white coffee..really not bad
