Passby uptown several times and always see this shop is full of customers.. Went for dinner that day to try it out. It's just located at the uptown commercial area, at the end of the row of HSBC Bank. Remember this Yellow sign board as there is another Charcoal Hokkien Mee just 2 shops ahead of this.

they are famous with lots lots of lards. The taste actually quite normal, may be given too high expectation as many ppl says its so delicious.

Dad likes the ''ba gao'' from penang... so he complain that this is not what he expected too. hahaha the soup really quite clear and I think is ok.

one day i went to ta-bao the Hokkien Mee home for supper... out of my surprise, it taste much much delicious compare to i eat ''fresh'' at the restaurant. hahaha I wonder why.. but may be after packed and ''soaked'' for more than 10mins it taste better when reached home.

Hokkien Mee + Mihun @ RM12.00 - this is super big packet... can be eaten for 3 pax at least.

Fortune Garden Restaurant (同心園) @ Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara

Fortune Garden Chinese Restaurant has been operating at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara severals years and after 2nd renovation, we went there for dinner last weekend. Its quite a normal chinese restaurant that serves the normal chinese dishes that we usually had in a Chinese Restaurants. Saw quite a couple of old folks dine-in there when I enter the restaurant... hehee

We settle the bill at RM64.00 for 3 pax. The food is ok for a normal meal. Here is not bad for some simple dishes with rice and air-conditioned too.

Sai Kong Restaurant (西公飯店) @ Kepong Baru, KL

This was a restaurant recommended by my brother. He says the lala (clam) here was so big and delicious. So we came here for a try and I love it so much now... Came here for several times and i have tried some of their dishes to share it here.

They are operating in 3 shoplots, 2 with aircon and 1 without.


Delighting coconut water @ RM4.00.... its so sweet and the meat is soft and smooth...!!!
