Johnny's Restaurant @ 1Utama

Got a cash voucher of Johnny's Restaurant from a friend... actually i never know what is Johnny's Restaurant serving until I get the voucher.. hahhaa

as some of my friends also never try before... not to waste the voucher we decided to have a try.

we had a little dispute with the waiter before we get ourselves a seat... we actually reach there around 7pm... the restaurant is quite empty and is only 10% occupied... but the waiter does not allow us to pick the rectangular table... because he claimed that its for 6pax while we are just 4 person should take the square table... but the square table is like so pack even only the initial plates and bowls...(as steamboat uses more plates later for the food)...  There are several rectangular table... they insist that there will be more customers later...  We were so pissed about it... as its like the restaurant will be fully seated later =.=''  which we totally does think so...

we end up choosing the table outside...  yes a small round table for 4pax. and with the pot in the middle is all full already hahhaa

the menu..

too many choices... and we decided to pick the set... C

the special sauce... its sour, chilli and some basil taste.. not very spicy... without this sauce i cant imagine how this meal will end up... lolz

see... all the food... so much..!!! how to serve on the table??.. hahhaaa luckily they bring us a small table beside for us to put them...

yam special dessert

ice lemon tea & aloe vera juice

some of the fish ball is abit smelly... aiks... we can smell it even before its cook... we thought it will be better after cook.. but still the same... =.=''
others is still acceptable....
But I can say that the soup base is really quite nice... chicken soup... and its getting sweeter and nicer at the end... (obviously steamboat is like that.. hahaaa)

the best side order of the night ~ BBQ chicken wing

the total bill is RM97.55 ... just nice for the RM100 cash voucher...
Luckily this is a free meal..!!!   hahhaaa as i don't think we will come back for second visit.. oopz

**by the way... along our dinner until we call for the bill... the restaurant is just like 40% occupied customers...  why the waiters are just so proud that it will be full and not allow us for the 6pax table..!

Emperor Q @ Pavilion KL

Normally visit Pavilion during lunch time... so normally no chance to try The Japanese Sweets, MOF... which is quite attractive and tasty looking from outisde...

Was so happy that a new Restaurant - Emperor Q (乾隆茶坊) Chin Se Casual Restaurant & Cafe just open opposite. This restaurant is origin from Singapore and was under the same management to the Japanese Sweets and they serve meals too.!!

in the restaurant can ''MOF" everywhere ... what's MOF?  ~
Ministry of FOOD

MOF does not add in MSG, Chemicals, Preservatives, Artificial Colourings & Flavorings.
MOF donates part of nett profit to the charity.

There are too much variety of food to choose...
finally we ordered the Salmon on Hot Stone (三文魚石鍋飯) @ RM12.80

they cook it beside you before serving on to the table... so i cant take a pix before the ''stir''
it smell good and taste nice..!! the soy sauce taste is special

top up RM2.00 for a steam egg

Cod Fish Mee Suah (XO雪魚麵線) @ RM24.80

the XO cod fish

mee suah in herbal soup

we are so full finishing the food.... but the dessert is a ''must to try''...

Sesame Zen @ RM13.50  (red bean with pearl and black sesame ice cream)
the red bean blended..  the pearl is Q to bite.. and black sesame ice cream is rich..!! everything is so perfect.... quite sweet but still acceptable...  =]
